About Doria

The artist Bia Doria has in nature the raw material and the reason for her work. Their pieces are identified by works made from forest waste management, sustainable products and native trees rescued in burnings, deforestation, river bottoms, dams, among others.

Creations are developed with much innovation within what your imagination identifies as ideal forms of nature. And, therefore, it calls itself a representative of sustainable contemporary art.

Having the nature forms as the beginning of their work, it recreates and transforms forest waste as if it were polished diamonds, materials difficult to be worked and acquired, as they are rescued from closed forests, river bottoms and hard to reach places.

They need special care, from hygiene to preservation, so it is a time consuming process of preparation.
